Meditation is an ancient practice that holds the key to inner peace, self-relaxation, and personal growth. It can be your path to tranquility, clarity of thought, and the attainment of your loftiest aspirations. So, why should you meditate, and how can you harness its incredible potential? Let's delve into the art of meditation, uncovering the 'how' and 'why' behind this transformative practice.

Creating Your Serene Sanctuary

Before you embark on your meditation journey, it's vital to find a serene space that allows you to escape the clamour of everyday life. Whether you choose to sit or lie down, the location should exude a sense of calm. Silence, or even some gentle background music if you prefer, can set the stage for your meditation session.

The Path to Relaxation

As you settle into your chosen spot, take a moment to consciously relax every muscle in your body. This step is crucial, for it prepares you to embark on your meditation adventure. Gently close your eyes, and with each passing moment, feel the tension in your body melt away.

Breathe Life into Your Meditation

Your breath is your anchor in the vast sea of thoughts and emotions. Begin to inhale and exhale slowly through your nostrils. Let your breathing find its natural rhythm as you focus on the sensation of your belly rising and falling with each breath. This simple act of mindful breathing connects you to the present moment, grounding you in the here and now.

Visualizing Your Aspirations

Now, the real magic begins. As your body relaxes and your mind becomes more receptive, start visualizing yourself achieving your most lofty goals. Picture the life you want to lead, the person you aim to become, and the success you aspire to reach. See it in vivid detail, as if it's already happening.

Embracing the Stream of Thoughts

In your meditation, other thoughts may drift into your consciousness. They come and go, like leaves floating down a river. Instead of resisting them, acknowledge these passing thoughts without judgment. Let them pass through your mind like clouds in the sky. Then, gently guide your attention back to your visualizations and the soothing rhythm of your breath.

The Power of Consistency

To reap the full benefits of meditation, make it a daily practice. Dedicate at least five minutes each day to this transformative ritual. You may prefer to meditate for longer, choosing a time to align with personal significance or stamina. The duration is less important than the consistency; commit to your meditation practice, and watch the positive changes unfold.

Meditation: Beyond the Traditional Image

Remember, meditation doesn't conform to a single mould. Nor is it confined to a specific place or posture. Meditation is adaptable, flexible, and accessible anywhere, anytime. It empowers you to harness your inner strength and fortify your mental and emotional well-being.

Meditation is not just a practice; it's a journey of self-discovery and transformation. It can calm the turbulence of your mind, refresh your spirit, and detoxify your soul. Embrace the power of meditation and unlock the boundless potential that lies within you. As you explore the depths of your own consciousness, you'll find that it makes you not only calmer but also stronger in the face of life's challenges.

Well, my mother, God rest her soul, used to say: "When man on earth has done their best, Angels in heaven can’t do more." I loved that woman... she was such an inspiration and my best friend. I miss you so. Well, here are some other advices I have gathered to help us feel better when life knocks us down:

Embracing Nature: A Summer Symphony of Vibration

In the realm of nature, summer is a season of vibrant energy. The sun shines high, the days are long, and the atmosphere buzzes with the hum of life. It is a time of bountiful harvests, flourishing flora, and the vibrant hues of the natural world. A time when the symphony of nature is at its peak, with each element - from the gentle rustle of leaves to the melodious chirping of birds - contributing its unique note. The Pulse of Nature: Vibration At the heart of this symphony is the concept of vibration. Everything in nature - from the tiniest grain of sand to the mightiest oak tree - is in a constant state of vibration. This vibration is not just a physical movement, but a form of energy that is fundamental to the way nature functions. Summer keeps the planets in their orbits and their particles bound together. In the context of summer, vibration takes on a special significance. The increased sunlight and warmth lead to more intense vibrations, resulting in a flurry of activity in the ...

Happiness is a Myth

What if I told you everything you thought you knew about happiness is wrong? The truth is happiness is a myth and an illusion that is  overrated.   It is like chasing after a butterfly. The more you pursue it, the more it eludes you, and the moment you catch it is the moment it begins to die.  So, from whence came the word happy? According to The Oxford English Dictionary, the first record of the word was around 1350,   from Middle English, "a form of the English language spoken after the Norman conquest (1066) until the late 15th century," which is a derivative of the Old Norse "happ," meaning "luck" or "chance."  It combined "the word hap, meaning "a person's luck or lot," and the suffix –y, meaning "characterized by," to   form diminutive nouns and adjectives denoting a state, condition, or quality.  Then, in essence, when someone says, "I want to be happy," they are really saying that they want someone e...
