When You Want to Quit

A while ago I came across this post, I found it so inspiring that this is the second time I am sharing it with my readers. What's the difference among intuition, instinct, and judgment?

Have you ever wondered what exactly is the difference between "Intuition," "Judgment" and "Instinct?" We sometimes use them interchangeably to mean one and the same. I stumbled upon a Quora's answer. I n short, intuition is acquired and instinct is inherent - but both allow us to react without judgment. Judgment is a conscious act and involves reasoning. Intuition   The ability to acquire knowledge without inference or the use of reason. It's automatic without requiring thought. Think of how with experience to something, you can automatically react to a situation because your mind has internalised a response. Instinct Human inherent inclination to react to a situation, due to unlearned and inherited patterns. When I look back on my own life, there have been many times when I felt like giving up, there have been many times I have given up and there are times when I hang on tight for dear life. What do you think made the difference in actually giving up, just thinking about giving up and hanging on? In all these instances, I have learned that there are somethings worth fighting for and some things are just a waste of time and energy. Knowing the difference will make the difference because you are going to have to pick your battles. Sometimes some things are not meant to be—lay them to rest. When Your Best Isn't Good Enough

Ever feel like no matter how hard you've tried or how much effort you put into something or someone, your best just isn’t good enough? Well, my mother, God rest her soul, used to say: "When man on earth has done their best, Angels in heaven can’t do more." I loved that woman... she was such an inspiration and my best friend.
