Lord, I thank you for allowing me to live to see this day!! Oh, what a glorious day it is!! For the last 23 years of my life I have been a single parent or single mother, but thank you, Lord, today I can officially declare that I am just Single! While I will be forever their mother, I no longer have to mother them. I am so glad to see both my children come to this stage in their journey of life where they no longer need to parent them and I am so glad to take on my new role as a partner in their destiny!! It has definitely been a long rugged road that I somehow managed to have it look envious, but so far from it. My children and I have been through a lot, but we have managed to keep it together and come out more refined every time.
